Description

Ascending from Rosciano toward the Camaldolese Hermitage of Montegiove, a gate on the right opens onto a long, steep tree-lined avenue leading to Villa Rinalducci, one of the most renowned and splendid noble residences in the Fano area. Set upon a vast plateau bordered by thick vegetation, the rectangular manor features a facade embellished by a unique double-flight "pincer" staircase; from its summit, the view stretches across the Metauro River valley toward the Adriatic Sea. The current appearance of the residence presumably dates back to the second half of the 18th century, when Count Lelio Rinalducci in 1754 (as documented) decided to transform the pre-existing agricultural structure, inherited from the noble Palazzi Gisberti family of Fano, into a "casino di delizie" (pleasure house).

The restoration, meticulous in every detail, has recreated the high-charm atmosphere peculiar to the residence within the nine rooms located in the Villa. To meet the needs of its modern use, all the latest comforts and technologies have been provided (independent air conditioning, satellite television, free Wi-Fi, minibar, etc.), harmoniously integrated into the warm late-19th-century atmosphere of the refined and suggestive spaces within the manor house. Some rooms feature painted walls and are furnished with period pieces and prestigious items, such as beds and chandeliers carved and decorated in gold leaf. Furthermore, the "Priest’s Room" has been created within the sacristy of the masterfully restored small Church; it features an entrance next to the altar and is rich in details like a wooden four-poster bed and an ancient holy water font.

The twelve dependances offer a more informal hospitality, being independent and in close contact with nature. These warm and bright environments—located in the rustic dwellings (the former stables, greenhouses, etc.) near the park and overlooking the courtyard—preserve original ceilings with exposed beams and traditional tiled floors. They are furnished with walnut furniture, wrought-iron beds, and ceramic chandeliers crafted by skilled artisans.
