Born from the union of Montemaggiore al Metauro, Saltara, and Serrungarina, this municipality is a perfect blend of nature, culture, and flavor. In Montemaggiore, the “Winston Churchill” Museum recounts World War II history on the banks of the river. Saltara houses the elegant Villa del Balì, now an interactive science museum with a planetarium and observatory. Serrungarina surprises with its charming hamlets—Bargni and Pozzuolo—and excellent food production: Angelica Pears, Bianchello del Metauro DOP wine, Casciotta d’Urbino cheese, and DOP olive oil.
